Guide to 2021-22 Macon Mayhem Gamedays

The Macon Mayhem and the Spectra team at the Macon Coliseum are excited to host live hockey once again. It has been a honor to do so each year, and the past months have reminded us how privileged we are to work within the great community of Middle Georgia.

As always, our priority is the health and safety of everyone who enters our facility. We are taking every measure to ensure that we provide a safe environment for all our events by implementing cleaning and sanitizing procedures recommended by Spectra’s corporate office as well as local health officials.

Things may look different at the Macon Coliseum as we reopen for hockey games, but rest assured that we are doing a lot of little things that will make a big difference!

COVID-19 Rules and Procedures

Masks for guests and patrons, while not required, are encouraged to be worn while entering the venue and while navigating public spaces like restrooms, concessions, etc. Everyone who enters the venue will be subject to a temperature check with a non-contact infrared forehead thermometer at the entrance upon arrival. For the safety of our staff, patrons, and team personnel, anyone with a fever (defined as a temperature of 100.4˚F or above) will not be allowed to enter the venue. We encourage all patrons to adhere to proper six-foot distancing measures when navigating throughout the venue and whenever possible. An emphasis will be placed on contactless ticket scanning using Mobile Tickets, restroom fixtures, and payment processing. We encourage payment with credit cards when possible. Multiple hand sanitizer stations have been added throughout the Macon Coliseum. Staff members and guests are encouraged to hand sanitize during entry and throughout their time within the venue. Spectra has added an increase in our cleaning and disinfecting staff that ensures quality sanitation before, during, and after events. Per CDC guidelines, the Macon Centreplex will be cleaned after every performance or event with EPA or NEA registered cleaning agents and disinfectants. Proof of vaccination status or of a negative COVID-19 will not be required to enter the premises. Please note that the Macon Mayhem and Spectra reserve the right to change these policies at any time to reflect any change in corporate policy or government ordinances.

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures to protect our venue guests. However, there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the CDC, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By entering the venue, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and Venue disclaims any and all liability related thereto.

In accordance with the guidance and recommendations set forth by the CDC and local health officials, we respectfully request that the following guests not attend their selected event:

  • Guests who are feeling sick or experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms (including fever, cough and shortness of breath);
  • Guests who have been diagnosed with, or believe to have contracted, COVID-19, unless you have had no fever for 72 hours (without use of medicine) and 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared;
  • Guests who have been in contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days; and
  • Guests who have traveled internationally in the past 14 days.

No other bags will be allowed inside the venue. Please do not carry any bags inside of the clear bag.
