Macon Shut Out for Sixth Time

Macon, GA – It was a tough night for Macon as they were shutout for the sixth time this season. Two goals each by Bryce Ferrell and Tyler Piacentini led to a 6-0 win for the Huntsville Havoc.

Bryce Ferrell’s (6) first goal made it 1-0 Havoc. The Huntsville captain, Tyler Piacentini (19), got in on the action with the first of his two goals that gave Huntsville a 2-0 lead after the first period.

In the second, a trifecta of goals by the Havoc included a Rob Darrar (19) tally, and the second goal of the game by both Tyler Piacentini’s (20) and Bryce Ferrell (7) made it 5-0, which would be your final.

Huntsville goaltender Hunter Vorva recorded 26 saves in the victory. Huntsville outshot Macon just 33-30 in the loss.

Macon returns to play again Saturday night, February 26, with a puck drop at 6:30 PM.
